I like the way that you have your system setup.

How much did that display cost you?

Nice install! that would look even better if you had some neon shining over the carputer. what year Civic is that? Also, how did you make the IRMan eye so small??

You can definately tell summer is here, so many people completing installs.

He probably just took the receiver out of the casing and extended it into the dash. and bah, bunch of wusses waiting for summer its no fun if you don't loose the feeling in your fingers from the cold. and better than that, doing it at night in the winter (as i did after work, considering i got the mp3car bug in november).

and a very nice setup, a via eden board im guessing?

Smile thanx

It's a 94 civic.
The mobo is a FV25 with a PIII 866,
a keypower DC-DC PSU 250 watts resides under the mobo.
The display cost me an arm and a leg because I bought it just
when this motorized displays were starting to come out.($1,200.00)
and I did what MP3DUB mentioned above.

Smile alsmost done..

Eventually I'll finish it, I still have to find a nice custom place for
my removeable hard drive rack and cover the mobo with a nice sheet of plexiglass which I have to cut a hole on for the CPU fan to bring cool air in.

Smile settings

Yeah the fv25 board in windows XP will not use the whole lcd when the composite output is being used, still looking for a solution.
The resolution I'm using is 800*600, but also to make everything
more visible I made everything bigger in the appereance Tab in display settings.

Why not just use an external VGA 2 Video converter??

Im using the Trust encoder, that encodes the vga to video signal, the video signal can then be resized, moved around, just by the touch of a button on the converter

see trust.com for info
