Yeah, it looks cool. I had thought about one sometime ago. There's a couple old threads on this, search for PJRC.

I think it would be perfect for somebody doing MP3s only, but I remember reading the firmware was somewhat buggy, it was discussed in their mailing list.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it uses SanDisks. Booo.
The PJRC one uses laptop hard drives. Huzzah!

the yampp3 uses laptop HDDs, the circuit board is the same size...
