I wonder if its a regular pc or dedicated hardware.

sun viewable display? how big is that screen?

That certainly looks like an iGuidance screenshot photoshopped in there.
That may or may not be what the actualy interface looks like. It could also be running XP Embedded on that device, as well.
Don't know.
