Head Unit bay/DIN depth measurement on 2000 4Runner?

I am without my 2000 4Runner for a couple days so I can't measure it - anybody know about how much depth I have to work with?

I understand the standard DIN width is 7.2 inches and height is 2.11 inches, and I assume the double din is then 7.2x4.22 - but I am trying to figure out if I can mount my LCD screen in a DIN sized enclosure - but I am concerned about depth.

Any help or links to info would help - thanks.

you should have plenty of space.. not sure the exact depth of the crappy stock toyota stereo (that's sitting in my room somewhere)

I think it's like 6" deep.... there's plenty of room back there in my celi

oh... ever see this?
