what could be causing my windows to not sut down?

the last two times ive used my car, windows didnt automatically shut down when i turned off my car... and it caused the battery to drain completely..

what are some common causes for windows to hang like that? i havent changed anything since it started happening... before the past few days it had only happened like twice in the last year, but now every time i turn off my car, roadrunner is still on and music is still playing when i turn it on again...

what startup/shutdown controller are you using? If it's still working when you get back then it means that there's no signal for a button press. Check your connections.

Or if you have it to never "pull the plug" and stay in standby or something, if a driver causes it to hang, then it wont shut off.

Most common are driver issues. Common of those, is USB stuff.
