INFILL G4 - Australian and New Zealand Questions Answered
Hello Fellow MP3 CAR Members
My name is Michael Stojkov, I am the owner of MAX ICE, the company reasponsible for the Development and Distribution of the INFILL G4 in Australian and New Zealand.
I have seen alot of talk on the forums in regards to the INFILL G4, in brief we are currently establishing our dealers in Australia for the INFILL G4.
I am not on the forums to try and promote the G4, simplly i would like to try and answer any possible questions you may have about the G4, becuase i see that at present no one can get firm answers, which is a shame becuase in Australia we have already begun selling the units to the public with excellent results.
I have added some pics for you all to look at.
But please feel free to ask any questions, if admin would like to question our integrity then i am more than happy to prove that this is ligitiment. Or if Admin chooses to not allow us to answer the questions forum members may have then we will have to accept that.
Thank you and look forward to clearing up the waters in regards to the INFILL G4.!

I was wondering how long until you get in here.
I have a couple questions:
• The unit does not come with a TV tuner. However I noticed that in your magazine that you sell USB TV tuners. Is this somehow related? How much are these TV Tuners and are they OK for the car environment?
• I would like a picture of the back of the unit and the plugs that are on it. I am interested in the Radio plug and the GPS plug.
• The phone section. How does that work with the Infill station? I have a O2 Atom XDA with WM5. Will it work with that like centrafuse does?
Oh and what Maps do you get with the G4? are they 2007 Maps?

IS the G4 just a screen with built in dvd/cd and radio? Of is it a full blown carPC with motherboard and all?

It's a full blown computer.
I have to wonder what 'firm answers' you're referring to 'INFILLG4'?

It comes with a GPS antenna that plugs into one of the holes. The other plug is a DMB plug. That's all that's below it.

We are trialing our USB TV Tuners at present, depending on the area depends of the reception quality, they are R.R.P at $130. As for moving car environment i would not recommend it, they are more design say for a home PC and you want to have digital T.V on your computer.

The INFILL does not have any specific phone control software, however you can plug in a Blutooth adaptor and use the appropriate software to have phone control via INFILL.

HI
In regards to you question,
The INFILL G4, Australian Edition has made software modifications to enable the Copiliot Laptop Edition to work within the resoultions found on the UNIT.
Hence the reason we offer the Copilot software as it is fully compatible.
Hope that helps

Are there any internal PCI slots or a PCMCIA slot so I can use a PCMCIA wifi card?
Also, it seems that mp3car.com is forcing "Street Deck" on these when they sell them this summer. Is there anywhere to get/purchase/download the "Infill Station" software that is shown in all these pictures?

Forcing is quite a strong word, don't you think?
If we were to just release the G4 without an OS, users would not be able to use the features built into the G4...like FM radio, the build in amp, etc.
