KarPC.com

I searched and haven't seen them mentioned in a while. I saw they used to support this site with some group purchase on screens.

I was thinking about ordering something from them and sent them an email but they haven't replied.

There isnt anything on resellerratings.com about them either...

Just wondering if anyone has done any business with them lately?

According to register.com it is based in California, so if you pay by CC, you will be covered if you refuse the charges.

I only order online with a credit card that is guaranteed. That way a bad company can deal with someone with a bigger bat than me.

I am just curious to see what peoples experiences are since there isn't much in the past year on here about them.

I am thinking about getting a xenarc transflective from them, and currious about the quality and turn around time.

http://store.karpc.com/item-Xenarc-7...en--700tsv.htm

I am assuming that is the $190 Xenarc High Bright Upgrade "A reflective panel is installed behind your LCD and a NO-Glare coating applied to the touch panel."

...basically what I emailed them about

It is just a higher output CCFL tube from what I gather and the better TS that doesn't glare as much.

Not translflective. There will be a noticeable difference in sunlight readable quality between that and the transflective. Big difference.

Just my opinion but if any company can't reply to an email, I wouldn't do business with them. If they can't reply to a sales inquiry, how will you be able to get assistance if something goes wrong how will you get help?
