what to do with a open 1/2 din slot??

After pulling out the factory HU which was 2.5 DIN
and install a standard 1din am/fm/cd HU and a 1din fold out touch screen display, I have 1/2 a din left in the console.

just wondering what I can fill it with?
it looks so unprofessioinal with a gapping 1/2 din slot...

any ideas on what to do wiht it besides making a blank plate to cover it
anyone else have the same issue?
I was wondering if any car out there may have a factory 1/2 din slide out cup holder of something I can use

thanxs

I have a 1.5din opening in my dash, so I put a 1 din hu with touchscreen, plus in the extra 1/2 din spot I put in a laptop dvd drive. Seems to work out ok.

There are 1/2 DIN equalizers that you could add. In fact, I happen to have one, never used, that I will sell you.

My Jetta has a slide out cup holder. It looks like it's 1/2 DIN but I'm not completely sure.

I originally had a slot load DVD drive/burner. I moved that to the armrest, and put a 1/2 DIN EQ in it's place. The EQ is awesome cause it gives easy volume and bass controls, as well as easy switching between FM from the lilliput, and sound from the carputer. The tweaking of the other freq is nice too, but bass is what I change the most. Before the the carputer and EQ, I had a DIN mounting kit with a pocket built in. And before the pocket kit, I had a DIN kit with just a blank plastic face. My wifes car has a standard DIN CD player, with a pocket to fill the gap. What I'm trying to say is... You have a few choices....

i like the idea of aother cup holder; mine is in the glovebox for the cooler and heater, but they are just in the wrong spot for convenience.
the slotloading dvd is the answer though, make it look profesional.
i know some people with eq's in din slots, but their jobs just looked crappy and very low class so i would steer away from them, but thats just in my experience
