Girder

I received my IRman today finally!!!

I started learning grider and is a really powerful program!!!

So, I am using a pioneer (11-button) remote.. Do you know any other brand with such a remote (hangs on the steering wheel)??

I've programmed butttons for MediaCar and PowerDVD and globally mute!!!

I can post the grider file if you want!!!

next/prev,play/pause, visualisation etc... and for PowerDVD I've managed to have one button for stop/play(as there different buttons on PowerDVD for these functions) and another for play/pause etc....

I have one minor problem though!!!
When I push next for a long time for MC instead of acting as ff it goes to next songs, but after 4-5 song changes it acts as ff!!! Is this remote's problem or IRman's?? I've set IR reception to the fastest, if I set it to slower it is worse!!!

Sorry for my English!!!!

What a helpful post from the friggin' post whore monkey...

I think it might be the way you programed Girder. Try adding a slight pause in the setup of the keypress. This might cure it.

I don't know much about Girder, but I think there is setting for pressing and "holding" a button, do a search on their site, you should find some hints.

Here is a girder file used with a pioneer CD-SR100 remote!!!

It is for MediaCar Audio/Video and PowerDVD!!!
For MediaCar Audio I am using global hotkeys in order to be able to change songs,FF etc whichever application you use (ie. GPS)!!

That is for now!!!

Plugins needed: Switch, Volume OSD, XP OSD

To enable OSD, make sure to check the OSD check box for the action.
To slow down or antirepeat, make sure you enter the time for antirepeate wait time ms
