Shuttle Express

Hi,
Can the Shuttle Express be used with Girder? The shuttle software will send key presses to RR OK, but only if it is active at the time. For instance if I run an external app. in RR then RR is not active. This means I cannot access the RR buttons on the screen without left clicking on the RR part of the screen. I don't know if Girder will help, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Yes, I do this myself. I actually have it setup to use F13-F24 (not all, but most) to differentiate between the buttons. I use Meedio which accepts messages so it is a relatively seemless process. Girder listens for the F keysa nd then sends the appropriate message to Meedio. I have the outer dial set to repeat the keys faster and faster. Not sure how RR works as I've never used it. Worst case you can set the target to RR and send the keystrokes.

Thanks for your reply. I've found a dead simple solution. The shuttle has a global setting, which it uses for any app. you've not programmed buttons for. I've set each key to do a ALT+TAB so it switches back to RR when I press any button!

Once XP switches to RR the Shuttle uses the RR settings I've put in. I'm a very happy bunny!
