Angry iGuidance 3 voice delay/lag?

I have iGuidance 3. Everything has worked fine with it until recently...

Voice Prompts now have a big delay/lag problem. It's like "In...(5 secs)...2...(5 secs)...miles...". I've tried uninstalling drivers and software that have been installed since I used it last, and closing other running programs with no success. System performance looks ok during a voice prompt, so it doesn't appear to be a system overload. I have to mute prompts now because they're nothing but distracting, and I don't know why it started doing that. GPS appears to connect ok, and the map seems to function ok.

So I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this or possibly fixed it? I've seen it happening to others on the web, but no answers towards fixing it yet. Any ideas?

There is an update on the iNav website:

http://www.inavcorp.com/support/downloads.php

Update to version 3.0.1

I've heard that this fixes the issue, along with a few other stability problems, but I myself have never had this problem.

big delay

well i upgraded from ig v2.#.# (whatever the latest was) to ig v3 and when zoomed in completely there is a huge delay. So i just did the patch today to go to v3.0.1 and there is still a lag.

For example: I will pass a street going 45mph and on iguidance screen it will show me crossing it ~25 yards later. Its very obvious and very ANNOYING...

I am using it with a globalsat bu-353 receiver. My try to use my rikaline 6010 and see if it still happens.

I might go back to ig v2## (which had NO zilch nada delay) but one thing i like about v3 is that when coming out of hibernation, i dont have to click "ok" for gps receiver to connect, that was very frustrating about v2.

Well if anyone else is still experiencing this problem lets find a fix!!!

I'm using a globalsat bu-353 too, so it should work okay. Although I never zoom in all the way. Only when it auto zooms. I'll check next time...

My delay problem was with the Voice only. Everything else worked at normal speed. So it was different.
