Greetings,

I am in SA and am using Destinator PN maps from March 2006. I have found that the maps for newer areas (where I am in the hills) have the correct roads but dont lock onto the street numbers accuratly. I am unsure if this a problem with all maps from the various distributors or just Destinator.

As for speed cameras I have not ventured into these a great deal at teh moment....

Regards

http://members.iinet.com.au/~cbbbdl/mixo.htm is a site for tomtom and they are in .csv format but I'm sure they can be used for destinator.

trigge: What version are the maps? it will be someting like 2006.Qx.xxxx and should show it in the wce.txt file.

meddler,

Map version is Australia 2005.Q2.3446.

Looks like they are 2005 maps not 2006 as I thought...

maybe check the CF forums. CF uses a slightly different version of destinator to the one you can buy in the shops. I am not sure if the POI's and camera databases are different, but you might want to check

look here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cent...rafuse-d3.html That may help.

What are you guys using for Destinator 6 maps ? Are you editing to make them run in v 3 ?
I know they don't work with MapMonkey. I've been reading and I think Destiplus works with v6, is there much else?
