Escort radar with satellite

Escort has a new radar detector that has a built in GPS receiver that also has a USB jack.

Could you plug the USB into your PC to use say I-guidance and the radar as the USB receiver?

Reason is i need a radar detector PLUS a satellite GPS receiver..

The USB can only be used to backup location data. A little disappointing, I know.

I saw this link earlier and checked it out.
Later on in teh day, I saw a television ad for this same unit.

The ad sucked and said nothing abou the USB capabilities of the unit.
