Also, how is the accuracy in directions?
Only had it working on my test bench, so I didn't get a real-life test of it.
The TTS is pretty easy to understand, perhaps spoken a bit too quickly. My demo route included a ferry that the directions abbreviate to "FRY" so it kept telling me to turn into the fry terminal... I kept trying to tell her that I don't eat McDonalds anymore...

Has anyone determined if the audio pausing will work with iG4 and the code in RR? I see a couple mentions of it, but no definate answer as of yet.
I just purchased iG4 from GPSNow, and am waiting for the licence in email. When you purchase the licenve through them, you can Download iG right from their site. Was $95 going that route. The stupid thing I did though, was to use GOogle Checkout for the purchase. Looks like they have to get the info from Google for the payment and such, before I get the email with the licencing code
Also wondering if the Coordinates are back in iG4, or if they will have to be reshacked in again.

Good to hear! I hopefully will have iG4 today, and will do some extensive testing, and post the results of what I find. I bought it through BuyGPSNow.com Friday night, and they sent me the license & serial, but did not send me the download link on their server! So I have had to wail till Today (Monday) when they open again to get the info from them.
I also have a ton of AutoIt scripts in my DigitalFX skin, and need to test all of em, and see what it might take to tweak them back into working, as I know some of them will probably have problems traversing the menu's and such.
Also have to determine if they Coordinates are still left out, and need to be reshacked back in. Lots of stuff to test..... oh well, I don't mind at all for the Text To Speech instead of the canned .wav files!

John, please make sure to post your findings in how ig4 works with you DFX skin. That's currently the skin I'm using and am waiting on upgrading to ig4 until I hear it is working as well as ig3 does. Thanks!

This is for Digital FX 2.. It does mute. I tested all functions and it works great. Can't find a bug yet. The lagging went away after driving 400 miles today.
For the volume to mute, make sure you set up your volumes as JohnWPB mentions in his help file.

Well there has been a delay, I will not receive iGuidance 4 till Tomorrow (Wednsday) Via FedEx.
I am glad to hear that it seems to work well with the DigitalFX skin, as thats a lot less work for me heheh. I still have to check some internal stuff to make sure it works with GPS Gas and a few other things as well. If al goes well, I will reshack 4.0, to improve the graphics and make it match the skin a little better.

I think that is the only function I forgot to check (GAS)... Will do that tomorrow.
I checked every button on the screen and also it shows the city, county, zip when changing the screen type.
One note, when running ig4 for first time, there is a window button you have to press till it fits inside DigitalFX.

We;; I am willing to bet that it will not work with the GPS gas. From version 2.11 to 3.0 they removed the navigate by coordinates. The 3.0 had to be reshacked, and ad the control screen back in with the code from 2.11. Knowing iNav, I seriously doubt they put it back in again for 4.0

I just checked the GPS gas function. It loads prices fine which is an internet function however when you click map it, only thing that happens is the Main Menu of IG4 opens. So you are correct, that is not working.

I was pretty certain it would not. Whats happening, is it is getting to the main menu, and then the AutoIt script is trying to access the Coordinates button, that is not there, so it just stops at the main menu.
When I get iG4 tomorrow, I will see if I can reshack the coordinates back in, and see if I can get it all working again. I will post details here one way or the other....
