Destinator 3 and Destinator 6 co-exist possible?

Hi all,

Basically I have still not decided between RoadRunner (+ MapMonkey/FreeDrive) and CentraFuse yet. But there is one problem that is stopping me from choosing...

I first installed RoadRunner + MapMonkey/FreeDrive, everything worked fine. I then installed CentraFuse, again everything worked fine.

Now if I start RoadRunner + MapMonkey/FreeDrive again, then Destinator 3 complains and asks me to install it again... okay so I installed MapMonkey/FreeDrive again, but then the Destinator 6 in CentraFuse now won't work! It just shows me a black square about the size of 320x240!

So I am just wondering has anyone managed to get Destinator 3 and 6 to co-exist?

RoadRunner, MapMonkey, FreeDrive and CentraFuse are all installed to the default folder.

Thanks.

Don't know...

I had a new install of Centrafu$e on my D drive, then I installed MapMonkey...it didn't cause D6 to stop so I don't know.

Possibly, that's why I mentioned the D drive although I don't see why..2 different files are registered on each install..default folders are different...D3 definately needs to be at C:\DestinatorApps\ but centrafu$e shouldn't overwrite anything there.

Might just be D6 going on before D3.

Maybe D6 looks for D3 files during install and nobbles the dll.

But let's say now you got D6 installed and working, when you install D3 again it stops D6 from working! Surely D3 can't cripple D6 intentionally as D6 is newer than D3?

Installing D3 didn't stop D6 here.

Don't re-install just re-register the dll...

For D3 -

regsvr32 C:\DestinatorApps\DestDLL.dll (or wherever the destdll.dll is)

Hmm, might need to set up a lap dancer for testing.

Also may have to get a laptop to test this d3/d6 thing on.

Grrr... been messing around for a while, and now when I start D3 a fatal error pops up But if I click OK it carries on? Anyone knows what it could be?

(This is the standard Windows error message box, you know the one with OK and Details buttons.)

Could be just a loader program that loads the main exe, but it crashes before finishing what it does after loading the main exe.

If I remember the main destinator exe isn't destinator.exe but C_Client.exe
