Front End/Allows for 3rd Party GPS

Just thought I would throw this out there for those that use and love iGuidance or some other Navigation software.

This front end allows for assigning the nav key to your preferred application as well as any other buttons for other apps. Its loaded with all kinds of goodies and the best part is if you buy the version without their navigation (google maps) its pretty darn cheap.

I too have been on a quest to be able to use iGuidance along with a good front end and I might give this one a try.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Uh.....yeah well I have looked around. I noticed that in this forum there are people who like iguidance and post from someone wanting to mod Street Deck (which seems to be the flavor of this site) to allow the option to do this.

I also noticed in that post that you jumped on that poster for wanting to have the option of using a different navigation app. Even though some other members seemed interested in this possibility.

Did I do a search on here for Digital Dash? No but I also didnt see it listed in the Front End section of the forum which lead me to believe not much had been said about it. Did I read thru all of the other Front Ends? No but like I said I found this one and thought I would let people know.

I would just rather hear thoughts from others on here if they have heard of this program or used it with another GPS app and their thoughts.

Actually, my point is that there are other front-end apps out there that integrate iGuidance nicely.

Well I didnt assume that I found the only one. I simply found one that hadnt been mentioned here. I guess I worded my original post wrong.

There is nothing wrong with letting people know of another product, even if there are a 100 more like it. That was my intention. If you havent looked at it you should check it out.

No problem lex, happy to help.

Yeah I couldnt figure out why they are charging that much too. But 50 for the program and using iguidance is a pretty good deal. Plus that program does alot too, plus you can have it open up any program on your pc.

I did notice that they are also offering co-pilot and an antenna as another option.
