what gps reciever to buy?

I would like to buy a gps reciever for in car navigation. I plan on using the gps with my hp 9500t laptop. I would prefer a usb reciever unless there is a advantage with a bluetooth reciever. I just do not know what gps to get. Should I buy something like a 32 channel MTK or is there something better? I plan on using the gps with copilot live 10. Thanks for your replies.

Any receiver that outputs NMEA data.
Sirfstar III chipsets are supposedly more accurate with a faster lock time, but not at all necessary. You can get a new one for about $55 without looking too hard.
