So another thing to try, not necesarily to fix it, but to understand the problem. Try changing it to KPH and see how it affects things. You can always change it back again, and it might give some more clues as to what is going on.

Yes, I trust GPS more than I trust a speedometer in a car. For safety reasons the speedometers in cars are allowed deviate 0% to +10% from the actual speed. They either may show the exact speed, at which you travel, or a bit more (but not less).

I did the same thing. Doh! In RR you turn off "Internationalization" to change it to mph.

I can almost 100% guarantee you the cars not off.
It's a 07, it has 2 different speedo's (although possibly connected) a normal speedo then a digital speedo too.
Today I changed it to KPH and it read teh same speed, when I changed it back to MPH it read the same speed...
My guess is it is still set on KPH.
I was going 74 and it read out 116 lol.

Bingo...! I knew that would be useful.

SO GOOD NEWS!
I go in to rr.ini KPH is set, I change it to MPH... It's a no go. So I look for internationalization cant find it but I did find some disableinternat or something and changed it to the opposite of what it was set at... That's a no go too. FINNALY I was messing around and saw in the skins help file about the 'internationalization' check box, went into RR config and sure enough it was checked, un-checked it and BINGO it works.
Now while we are on the GPS subject if anybody knows... When I open iguideance by itself it works golden it goes right to where I am and bingo it works fine. If I open RR while iguideance is open it works PERFECT.
But if I close iguideance and RR then open RR then go to GPS it doesnt. It puts me on some weird road I have no clue when I was ever there. If I go to GPS options then GPS info under Iguideance from RR it shows me as have 0 sats and it not being setup right. But if I close RR then open Iguideance it works fine. I checked the GPS port setup in RR.ini and in the config everything looks fine. Any solution/fix?

set your port in rrconfig to 0.
start rr, then ig, go to tools, and select the com port of the actual gps reciever
should work fine from there.

Did you install COM port splitter? Xport3 by Curiosity is good free one.
The problem you have seem like RR and iGuidance sharing the same COM port.
Talking about car speedo and GPS speedo. I trust the GPS more than the speedo. All of my 3 cars, the Matrix is the only one that show speed is the same/or close to gps speed. My Supra and the Accord read 85 when gps only show 80....
