Just tried to access the IndieVolume web site.

They seem to have disappeared. I keep getting a 404 error.

That would probably mean that you aren't running 7.0 already.

Did you try to just run your 7.1 version with the cmdline params for window mode ? If your current version is 7.1.17 then using the patch to 7.1.13 would be a downgrade, maybe thats why it is saying this.
try this perhaps : C:\Program Files\Navigator7\PC_Navigator\PC_Navigator.exe --window_border=no --window_position="0,0,800,600"

PC Nav + RR + iDrive. Works out of the box

I have been messing around with PC Navigator 7 on my Everun. Seems like a good value solution. Especially for Europe. Nice touch interface.

Had been running it with iCT but have switched to RR with an iDrive skin.

Initially I had problems but I re-installed a new version of RR last night and it seems to be working 100% windowed out of the box.

I used the RR installer from here. (CarPCnet) and just set the GPS external path to pick up Navigator and set the window name to 'Navigator'

It embeds without a problem but leaves a menu bar on the LHS. Sorry about the terrible pic but you get the idea.

Just getting round to playing with my v7

the guide you done dopehead, does that apply if you use the alternative launcher? ie if i just give the path to the launcher as my gps ('external'), will that then embed streight without all the messing with editing the skins? , i want it to be generic so that it will work whatever skin i load

cheers

Also anyone know to install more maps (other than re-installing?) im thinking just extract the rar files in the root folder?

Yes actually, once you have the windowsize update on there i have recently found that just putting in pcnavigator as external GPS menu in RRconfig will resize the window all on its own. No need for the special launcher anymore.

If you mean with the roads not being found in the right city when searching...then no, i am currently thinking of using the sdk to search through the data myself, and then putting the coords in using the TCP send routes function in pcnav7
