Iguidance 4, reshack, customizing bitmap resources ...

So, I finally received iguidance 4... I'm not quite happy with it. I was hoping for more of a change. Not saying it sucks, but ah well. I still use it.

Anyway, im bored of the interface and i'd like to edit it using reshack so it blends in better with CentraFuse.

I was wondering if there is a program that can extract all bitmap resources in one shot?

also, is anyone else out there working on editing IguidanceUMPC ?

Just loaded that in the car, the day/night change doesnt seem to work. (if you dont use the theme.ini they work and you still get your cool graphics)
Otherwise its so much better than the default. Thanks for posting that!!!!
Anyone know of any others?

You can change the color settings in the theme.ini
It's been a while so I'm not sure what they are. Change the background to black or blue or something for night.

I quickly started some graphics before I saw your skin, not sure if I will move forward since I have your skin installed.

There are a hell of a lot of images in IG4, it took me a long time to find them all. Especially the buttons. Even though they are identical graphics, the are different images in IG. So if you want to take the plunge another IG skin would be great.
What I did initially is extract all of the default images and drew a different number on each one so that when I opened IG I could see exactly where each one was being used.

Yeah thats probably why Id stop my progress, so many images and one by one is a killer.

I guess the only thing I would want to change in yours is the GPS icon, that default one is kinda cheesy.

Is there any way to batch replace the resources in the exe without having to do them one by one?

From memory, when you export all from reshack it makes an .rc file or something? There is an app to convert this to .res which you can import into reshack. Can find it right now but search for reshack iguidance.

Awesome, the more the merrier.
So your saying we can export, change all the images and then just import them back in in one shot? If thats the case I may just try skinning this thing.

Anyone know how I could remap the exit button to launch a custom script, or the resize out of fullscreen button to launch a custom script?

EDIT: I used PE Explorer to see the code section but that didn't make much sense to me.
