GPS coordinates off?

Has anyone ever experienced this problem running IG 3.0.1 where the coordinates are a bit off in a certain direction consitantly? For example, I'm heading north on 4th Ave, but iG shows me on 6th ave heading north.

Anyone think this may be an overheating issue with my carPC cuz I saw this happen after driving 3 hours in my car. I shut it down for about 15min and it was fine afterwards. However, music and RR runs fine all the time.

What do you guys think?

I run into a similar problem when in in NYC, specifically the Times Square area. When I get there my Icon in Iquidance turns yellow as in its losing the signal and then tells me im off road or im on some other street that I know im not on and then jumps in and out. I know its not out of signal range because when it is, like when i enter the Holland or Lincoln tunnel, the cursor turns red and i appear not to move. then when i leave the tunnel it turns green again and it updates my location outside of the tunnel. I also have Sirius and thet loses signal way before my GPS usually does. I thought maybe im not getting enough signals but thought I was the only one with this problem.

One thing i did find out today form cruising the boards is there is a route list in iQuidance. I guess when im in the heart of NYC and my GPS is set to go somewhere, ill just look at the route list, kinda like mapquest on the screen I guess. Just wish i wouldve known this earlier. Not very cool when you have GPS but still get lost in NYC.

could be caused by multipath errors.. basically the gps signal is bouncing off buildings and giving your gps receiver a longer path than usual, which results in the error.

although the coordinates always being off in the same direction is a little weird...

yeah, it shows a green arrow so I'm pretty sure the signal is strong. I was moving along on the highway, yet it shows me as on local streets floating over buildings and houses.

You may have a faulty receiver, as well.
Have you contacted the manufacturer about this issue?
