I just installed iGuidance 4 after using 3 with no problems. Now my computer crashes within 5 minutes of using IG4. I am also using xport.

Computer is on the way (being built), was looking to buy a GPS receiver (probably the BU 353). Reading about the problems restoring from hibernate with USB connected GPS, was looking for one that has serial connector. Cant find any.

Found a cable with a Ps2 connector, that aslo requires a driver so I wasnt sure if it would have the same problem.

Question : Arent there any GPS receivers (or I should say a Globalsat BU 353) that have just a serial plug on the end? (is there power on the serial connector?)

There's a new release of xport that come out yesterday that seems to fix this issue for me.

Edit: I did some more testing and it started BSODing again, so I also switched to GPSGate, which seems to solve the problem.
