IG 4.0 - COM port resets :(

Every time I start IG4, the COM port which is set at COM12 resets back to COM1.

I'm using Xport3, splitting from com8 (I think) to com11 and com12.

When IG4 is used in RR or standalone, the com port is reset to 1.

Any ideas to force it to save my com setting?

iGuidance does not like ports over 9. Try to set it to a lower one.

Also make sure you do the GPS detect outside of RR, then exit iGuidance and load RR with iG embedded. It sometimes makes a difference, but as he said, anything over 9 gets modulo'd down. Lazy programming on their part... And 9 is such an arbitrary number too.

I'll try the lower port later today. I did switch to the higher com ports because the previous set gps com port was somehow conflicting with my touchscreen com port and was making my mouse erratic (clicking and moving for no reason).

Thanks guys
