GPS "snapshot" from Iguidance?

I had an idea that I wanted to share with all the software savy people.

Since I'm getting a bluetooth phone to link up with freefone embedded in RR, I was thinking what else would be useful for us.

and I thought a kick *** thing would be to take a "snapshot" of a gps map that you choose from Iguidance, and send it to your phone. If you have a large enough LCD, it woudl be very useful in case you needed a map for when you walk away from your car.

does Iguidance already have a "snapshot" or send picture feature? and if so, could we do it in a few easy steps without using a keyboard? (like use our touchscreen or onscreen keyboard)

I think that would be very useful. sending Iguidance images over bluetooth to your large lcd phone.

I'd have to think that there's a way to use the PRINT SCREEN capture function of a keyboard by putting a button that did the same thing on a touchscreen.

You're right, it's a cool idea if you can make it work.
