I been very frustrated for the past few day trying and searching for more info how to set S&S to work with RR. Can someone here kind enough walk me through this.
First: I have 2006 S&S with gps locator which S&S doesn't detected, it shown up in device manager on com 3 and I set the comport accordingly in S&S and hit the scan button, it shown no gps device found.
Second: How do I setup RR to work with S&S? In RR config I set the path to gps to where S&S installed, but when I hit the GPs button, it open up S&S app. I thought S&S was integrated in RR so I can use interface from RR. Please tell me what I did wrong. I used DF skin.

For #1, make sure you scan outside of RR or else it wont save the port. Also try plugging it in directly to the motherboard not to a usb hub.

For #2, that is how it works. It is "embedded" not integrated.

Thanks for the comments. I did the setup for gps using S&S only not with RR. it has 3 ports, but after scanned, all 3 ports shown no gps device found. As for S&S, you mean RR run the S&S app then you control it from S&S not from RR gps embedded options.
