Best GPS system in South Africa?

What is the best GPS system for South Africa
Both Garmin and Tomtom have maps, but which are better
Or maybe another make
What do you think?

I understand that nRoute is garmin's solution for laptops etc.
How good do you find the maps?
I believe that all garmin products would be using the same maps

Those online maps aren't a true representation of the level you can get from Garmin.

The maps are very good . There's another product called Handymap but I would say Garmin is better.
