9, 10, very seldom 11.
If I recall correctly I might have seen 12 once in my life - but only for a few seconds

Between 8-10 on the Gold Coast, Australia and that with the receiver hidden away under the dash.
How many satellites do you need to be really accurate and what's the maximum before additional sats become superflous?

I got 12 sometime if I'm in the middle of no where. Most of the time is 7-10 and 0-5 if I'm in the city and heavy overcast.
