(Though Im assuming thats against their beta rules) Or know of a way to get US maps for this app, not through Sygic? perhaps convert from another map type or get from a comercial GPS unit (I have access to 2 magelan units)

I look forward to hearing more about DRIVE and US maps!

Have you managed to get anything with the sdk? I can start drive but that's all so far

I started by modifying the example app to desktop from mobile and from there I was able to code. All I have done so far is load DRIVE, enter my address and go to it on DRIVE. I havent done too much yet. But it definitly is working for me.

I used the SDK from the link you provided (I dont recall version off hand). I am using Visual Studio 2008 and converted the project to a VS9 format.

How? I can't get past this line

Quote:
CApplicationAPI.InitApi("d:\\drive_xp\\Drive.exe", ApplicationHandlerFunc,0,0,800,480

It gets to there opens sygic drive but then doesn't continue with the code. I must have something wrong cause I don't really know .net.

I am also thinking of doing some SDK stuff, from the documentation it seems a bit more usefull than the one in PC Navigator 7. I just got sygic working in the car with the Nordic maps, this thing looks really great and routing/voice is very nice i think.

Got this embedded in FreeIce and RoadRunner now.

Plus it works equally well as a stand alone app launched from Windows.

I just created a shortcut on the desktop and had it point to this:

"C:\Program Files\DRIVE_XP\Drive.exe" -no-safety -r800x560"
