This looks promising after being a die hard Tom Tom fan, ive used many since this and only recently purchased PC Navigator 7 (Which can be frustrating sometimes.)
But this does look virtually identical to the tom tom menus, whats the best place to buy in the UK?, how long does the demo version last?

be careful with visual appearance arguments which is of course a good selling argument chose a navigation system.
until i cannot resolve the issues mentioned in previous posts i will continue to use iguidance v2 for europe. i know its old and cards are out-of-date but it is still 1000 times more reliable than having a program to guide you through pedestrians areas, being late in the display etc. believe me
key of navigation systems are their reability and correctness. nice graphics is nice to have

For anyone who has tried Sygic Drive WITH THEIR GPS: Does it interpolate between GPS signal data feeds? In other words, does the animation occurs at increased frames per second (10-20fps) or does it simply update once per NMEA data feed (~ 1 fps)?

as i described above it does continue "moving the map" but not really interpolate to where you are going/are supposed to go.
for example if i turn left (as suggested by the route planning) the arrow (which represents the car) is going straight, then jumps back to where i turned (after receiving the gps signal every second) and additionally does some strange rotation of the map. it is really disturbing. you get completely lost for a second or two.
you either
a) don't watch the map doing such maneuvers and check later if you are on the right track (if not a re-routing has already happened)
b) or set it to 1 fps. no smooth scrolling but at least you use the navigation aid as it is supposed to work - to help you out if you don't know where you are/go - not confusing you.
will try the 1 fps option today (what a shame-;(
or is there any option to get more than 1 fps (1 sec signal) from gps?

Can we ask what you have it set to at the moment?

yes, if your GPS supports it. Not many do.

No, why should they? Destinator maps won't work in Iguidance or visa versa

Marvin:
You should be able to set much higher Frames Per Second by modifying the ini files... I tried 30 fps, and it worked

I just uploaded a couple of vids taken very quickly of my Sygic running in my car, maybe someone wants to see how it looks in real life.

Well, i like Sygic alot better for the graphics, and it seems to route just as well as any, however i have the same problem as i did with PCNav7. I can't figure out how to enter a streetname before the city, and the get the city's where that streetname is, this is nessecary because the city names in the map db sometimes does not match what they are generally called in my country, and if i am not local to that place i have no clue what else to search for. This is a feature i would like to see in Sygic.

If you are loading Sygic off of a button, the COMMAND properties of this button should read:
"LOAD;sygic.skin;!Sygic DRIVE;C:\Program Files\DRIVE_XP\drive.exe |-no-safety -r800x520;!Sygic DRIVE||ACTIVATE;Sygic DRIVE"
Your best bet is to copy and paste exactly as i have done above (obvioulsy changing any of the necessary file paths you require).
The r800x520 is the dimesnions of the SYGIC application, so again you can change these to your liking.
I made a simple sygic.skin which looks like this:
MEDIACAR Skin
MEDIACAR IGUIDANCE. Skin
IGUIDANCE_OFF.jpg,IGUIDANCE_OFF.jpg,IGUIDANCE_OFF. jpg,IGUIDANCE_DOWN.jpg
/, L, x, y, w, h, color R;RGB, G, B, font size;FONT, font name, Code;LABELCODES, Tooltip;LABELALIGNMENT
L04,309,31,74,35,255,102,0,18,"Digital Readout Thick Upright:B","REMAININGTRACKTIME",
L01,9,31,287,35,255,102,0,18,"Digital Readout Thick Upright:B","TAGARTIST||= - ||TAGTITLE||=","SCROLL-LEFT"
/, B, x, y, w, h, Command;COMMANDCODES, Tooltip
/, A, x, y, w, h, color R;RGB, G, B
A01,0,77,800,520,255,255,255
END
Hope this helps
Tissy: I tried what you posted here and it works. Only problem is that when leave Sygic I go back to my desktop. RR is still running but minimize.
How can I make sure that when I leave Sygic I get back to my RR main menu??
