MS Streets and Trips has lots of Canadian maps. My little 5000 person town in rural Nova Scotia has every street shown.

M$ Streets & Trips is the Canadian/US version of AutoRoute, and from what ive read, its the best one for canadian maps.

From what I've read, MS Street's GPS support sucks. It doesnt work with USB to serial adapter. It updates the current position every 15 seconds. I found a link somewhere that you can do registry hack to update every second but I lost the link

Worked fine with my hacked Tripmate.. Any serial NMEA compatible receiver should work fine... I'm not sure about USB though.

btw, here is the link I posted before about removing the 15 second update:

Hi,
sorry I'll not come to Canada in near future - I'll come back one day but not this year (how knows perhaps in 2003 ) When I come I'll come to Montral but... . Pricipally I asked for a friend who's brother is in Montreal and he wants to visit an do some trips( don't know more ) and wanted a navisoft for this

- Autorouts GPS support sucks also - but I have found a hacked GPS.exe which should make it better.

Regards

Felix
