You must install this prog to PDA and XP too, and set up in PDA BLUETOOTH SERVER.
if it's done you can find it with carpc via gpsgate
If you're using a internal GPS in your PDA then I think you can just set your GPS as input in GpsGate then send it as a BT output to your PC. Don't think you need GpsGate Client for Windows. might be wrong. I'll try it out.

No, GPS software for your PDA will not work on your laptop. You need Windoze software on the laptop (assuming you run Windoze).
It's also likely that the GPS receiver iwll not work on the laptop and you'd need a USB or serial unit made for PC use.
You may be able to use teh PDA w/ GPS as a GPS receiver on the PC. I've never set this up, so I can't help with that.
GPS receivers are cheap (US$50 or so), though.

there is a software which and her name is GPS2BLUE
it open a virtual com port on the pc/laptop and this is how it only connected to the GPS antenna
on my MIO PDA so the pc/laptop think it connected to a GPS antenna via USB
I running on my pc destinator 7 and so far so good...
