So I bought the Holux GPS slim 240 and it works great as a bluetooth device but I can't get it to work in my carputer via usb. I installed the drivers and everything. Also I have my computer set to hibernate on ignition shutdown. After it wakes from hibernation I have to manually go into bluetooth places and click connect to device or whatever. When I open my bluetooth wireless headset it automatically detects and connects.
On Holux's site they have an optional usb cable for this unit. Do I need to buy a special cable for this or what. Does anyone else have the same unit and got it working in USB mode.
Yup,
You need the optional usb cable from Holux. It won't work with a standard usb cable.
