The iGuidance 4 Skin Thread

Ok fellas lets use this thread to post images and share our custom iG4 skins. Keep the discussion to a minimum in order to avoid clutter. Lets try to keep a format as well. Post 3-4 pics, a brief summary (name if any, also mention whether coordinate fixes have been made, etc), and the compressed .exe file

FAQ:
-How do i use these?
Back up your existing legal copy of iguidanceUMPC.exe then unzip and copy the iguidanceUMPC.exe included into your iGuidance folder.

-Will copying the .exe make me "hacked" iguidance version legal?
NO. Dont try it. Wont work. Purchase a legal version of the software and pay the developers there due.

-Will this .exe work with ig3 and previous versions of the software?
No. The map's are coded to match dates with the .exe. Copying this over an older version will only ruin your installed copy of the software.

Great idea for a thread and excellent skin, I will be using this as it matches my shock skin and GPS map color scheme very well. Nice Job sonic!

I have a working skin for v3 i am going to port over to v4 and post here.

Skin looks good but probably won't work with my IG v3. Just a quick question, I have my desktop font set to 120dpi and everything in iguidance is screwy. All the menus and icons are in the wrong position. Did they fix that in IG v4? I'm thinking of upgrading but the upgrade cost won't be worth it to me unless they fixed the DPI issue.

I have been looking for skins for iguidnace 4 since I bought it, are there any other worthwhile skins out there?

not sure if this is the right place to ask, but figured you guys would have an answer.
is there a way to get rid of the zoom and resize icons in IG4, resize is all I really care about cause it looks out of place and doesn't work when embedded in DFX3. -thanks

thats how iguidance is setup by default.

since this wasn't answered, should I take it that was your guys way of saying this isn't the proper thread? or is it a newbie thing?

you have to use a resource hacker on the iguidanceUMPC.exe to remove those items. Search "reshack" for your answer.
