IG4 map and position accuracy

anyone notice in IG4 that your position on the map is not as accurate as it was in IG3? maybe they changed their algorithm, but i have noticed a few times when it temporarily puts me on the wrong road or puts me past an intersection while i am waiting to turn at it (as if i went straight through it), causing an entire reroute. this never happened in IG3, i wonder....

I run iGuidance 4 and I've never had that problem. it may be a problem with your receiver, not the software?

i've noticed it in areas were a merge lane or a turn-off lane is right next to where i am.. its never been a problem tho because i just continue on the road instructed and it fixes itself.

I've noticed how in 3D mode it looks like you're past an intersection but if you switch to 2D mode you're not.

hmm. im usin the same receiver, but i never noticed these things in ig3. i guess its just in my head then

I use a GlobalSAT BU-353 USB receiver... what are you using?

The other day I was sitting at a stop sign and it said to turn in 50ft then after I turn it figured out I was on the road to turn on, and other times it tells me to turn a couple cars before I get there. Doing 70-80 it may say turn in 500ft when I hit the offramp. Is it lag or is it accuracy? Or both?
