iGuidance 2 disks...can they still be found?

I need iGuidance 2 install disks. Something seems to be wrong with mine. I can't load the maps right. I keep getting random error messages when I try. The end results are that it loads the POI's for some sates but not others, loads the polygons for some states but not others, and skips some states altogether.

I figure the disk is scratched somehow.

Anyway I need new install disks but I can't find anywhere that still sells version 2.

Does anyone know where I can still get a copy? Any websites that carry old software?

(Yes, I know version 4 rules the universe. But I like 2. It gets the job done just fine and I've got it all customized the way I like it.)

I'll even buy an unused copy off someone if anyone's upgraded to 4 and just has the version 2 disks laying around collecting dust. (Originals. Not copies. Don't want to be accused of anything here.)

Try to contact iNav ( www.inavcorp.com ). *If* they still have some, perhaps they could exchange your old scratched disk for a new one for the shipping/handling charge.

And ask them at the same time what thier copyright policy is regarding sharing the disks. I think I have 2.0 and/or 2.1 or 2.2, something like that. (Yes, I have 3 versions at home, I think) Depending on their answer, I might be able to help.

greatwhite is an unknown quantity at this point
I personally don't see an issue if you already own the software and simply need a replacement.

Here's what happened. I had to reinstall Windows, thus had to reinstall iGuidance. Hence the need for the reinstall.

The program itself seems to work fine. Loads easily, runs without crashing, etc. It's just the maps that are all f'ed up.

However, I installed iGuidance on my desktop machine so I could play with all the settings and customize it the way I want. It's still installed with the full maps.

Can I just copy the map file from my desktop and copy into a directory in the car?

Will that work? And does anyone know the name of the directory I need?
