Gotta give props to our Japanese brethren. That is VERY wicked! Now, if only our people would get off their arses. Man, DeLorme, get it in gear. You've already got the Topo maps.

The only down side there is I wonder how quickly those get out dated.

I know several people that are either from japan or have visited japan, or go there often even. Apparently GPS is pretty trendy there.

mp3car system is currently FUBAR and finances do not allow for a correction of that situation

Take a look at this.

It's no where near as advanced, but it's 3D (ish) and is available with maps of Europe and the North America.

I'm not sure how much it is.
I paid £250 for the first destinator software.

Mines in the post, should be here soon so Ill post what its like. Im getting a free upgrade, if you still have yours you should speak to the company who sold it to you, as Powerloc have offered to upgrade people to version 2 for free if you bought version 1.

I also registered online, never sent the card back. Powerloc didnt contact me, I asked the company that I bought it from and they said existing owners could get upgraded if we returned the original disks. It would be worth talking to whoever you bought it from.
