The new onstar... any hope?

For myself and anyone else wondering this...

Is it possible to do anything with the "new" onstar systems? And I don't mean anything like use them as building blocks or sledge hammer heads. Is it possible to get the use of the box like you could with the old version? Is this anywhere?

I cannot find any place to solder on a connector but, oddly enough, the gps board looks like it supports a CF card?
