Dash GPS receiver

Has anyone seen this?

http://www.dash.net/product/traffic-ddn.php

it is a GPS receiver that feeds traffic data back to their Dash Network and this affects the way routes are calculated.

Looks good, but totally useless in rural areas.

yeah, but you don't have much traffic in rural places. haha. I've been casually coding a program that takes real time traffic data, like dash, but i also include previous trips you've taken on roads, so you don't need real time data, but historic data.
