Well,
I found something a few of you may be interested in. It's an onscreen keyboard that's very customisable. Make sure you read the included textfile. Oh and did I metion ..its FREE

for those who already have it working, can you load Garmin IMG maps (not gmapsupp.img but the map packages used by nRoute)?
thanks!

Installation
After you installed your software to you UMPC, do you have to keep the DVD spinning for the maps or did it install completely to the hard drive so that you could remove the DVD?
..just making sure Garmin doesn't make you keep a DVD connected all the time!
Thanks,

The installation process installs the application and the data at the same time. There is not even other option given to the user
For those who are considering to order the package with the GPS receiver, here are two pictures:

Wowza.
I used S&T2006, then iG v3, and now iG v4. The activation in iGv4 is enough to make me want to use something else, and this seems like the next best candidate. And it is cheap!
As soon as there is some RR integration with an OSK, or if Garmin puts out an update with an OSK, I think I am going to buy it. My dad has the Nuvi ### something and it works pretty well, and looks just like the screenshots.

Will this software work with nuvi GPS? Or must use this receiver which is in packet?

They designed it for laptops and UMPC's, hence no OSK. You have to remember that most of these companies aren't thinking of us CarPC folks just yet.
