Exclamation Still having problem with iGuidance 4

Normally when i have software issues searching a few forums provides me with the answer. In this case i have search far and wide, tried almost every installation combination possible but i still cant get iGuidance working.

Lets start from the beginning. I have had iGuidance 4 on the laptop for the last 3 weeks. everything was working fine. it was running off an iso as my dvd drive doesnt do well in the car. i decided to look around in it and see if i couldn't change the text-to-speech voice....this was a mistake. i didn't alter and files but iGuide didnt seem to care. i try to open iguidance and i get "Text-to-speech Files not found. Please make sure the Map Data and Text-to-Speech Files are properly installed"

Since then i have re-installed it several times, copied the iNav Iguidance folder directly to c:, rebooted god knows how many times.

I am installing to the default location (C:/program files/inav/iguidance), installing from disc, installing from iso, running from disc, running from iso, copying the iNav iGuidance folder (which by the way i did NOT have to do originally to get it to work).

i have even went as far as to restore my registry from two days ago (when the problem started)

still nothing.

i need help!

are you using a legal copy?

map data and text to speech files are on the dvd, just copy them to your inav folder and it should work.

I think I had trouble with the CD in. Unmap the iso and see if that works.
