Garmin Mobile Pc Embedded

Has anyone had any success embedding garmins new software into any of the frontends yet because I have had no success. If anyone has which frontend and how. thanx

I was interested in trying it out for Centrafuse, but the problem is that the software does not have an on screen keyboard built in. With CF you just go into settings, click on the + and input the required info to embed the app.

Either it doesn't embed or I'm doing something wrong.

I input everything accordingly and Garmin always open on top of Centrafuse in fullscreen mode...never within Centrafuse

Make sure the exact window name of the application is what you type into the window name within the custom application settings.

I have the same problem. I put what I believe is the correct window name and it does the same thing, it always opens outside of centrafuse. the window name I am using is Que.exe I have tried it in the other frontends aswell it seems as if one of the great coders on here will have to create a way for us to embed this app which I can say, since I have received it out does destinator, iguidance and every other gps software.

Yup...I tried it with both Centrafuse and Road Runner, same thing happens to both FE. It opens on top of whatever you're running.

When I say window name, I mean the actual name that windows shows on the title bar of that window. Not the .exe name

For example, right now I am running firefox. The application name is firefox.exe, but the titlebar window name is Garmin Mobile Pc Embedded - MP3Car.com - Mozilla Firefox

Ive noticed CF to be picky about this. No experience with RR though.

Ok, I have managed to get garmin mobile pc embedded into centrafuse and roadrunner but the centrafuse embed went wrong it embeds but it is not possible to use thye centrafuse osk. I embedded it in roadrunner with success using the digital fx 3.0 skin and it works perfect you just have to use roadrunner skin editor to edit one of the gps skins so that you can use one of the buttons to be able to get the built in roadrunner osk to pop up, so it works perfect in roadrunner. If you want to use it in centrafuse you will have to use a program called the zero weight keyboard and it will work in centrafuse http://www.freshnet8.com/ these are some work aroumds until the super coders on here make plugins or skins specific for this software which shouldn't be to far off seeing it blows all the others to ****. oh by the way the correct window name is Garmin Mobile PC hope this helps.

How did you get it to embedded into Centrafuse? It still open in full screen for me, its not embedded WITHIN centrafuse. It lays on top of Centrafuse.

You have to scale it down via the sides and top of the application to get it to fit in the centrafuse window and then close the centrafuse window and restart

I can get the RR OSK to pop up but it won't enter the text into the Garmin text box after I hit "ENTER".

Were you completely successful with this?

>>OK, nevermind. It turns out that the text entered into the OSK with a keyboard doesn't get entered, but text entered with a mouse(or maybe touchscreen) does, even though both show up in the OSK text window.
