Unhappy How to get BT GPS working on pc (several programs)

Because I try several programs, to try out which one I prefer, I post a now topic.

I have the Adapt 300 GPS module:
http://www.adapt-mobile.com/download...il.php?p_id=17

I used it many years together with a pocket pc (WM5 and TomTom6) without any problems.
Now I want to try it on my laptop (after succesfull, transfering it to a carputer).

TomTom 6 via Pocket PC Emulator (v3.0)/Windows Mobile 5 image:
What do I have to set where?
I tried every solution on nearly every tomtom topic on m3car.com/digital-car.co.uk/carputerforum.nl
There must be a single solution for this.

I use Vista. My BT GPS module is connected via:
Quote:
COM3 - outbound (BT GPS 'SPP Slave')
COM18 - inbound

I start the emulator with:
Quote:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Device Emulator 2.0 Preview\DeviceEmulator.exe" "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 MSFP Emulator Images\pocketpc.nb0" /s "C:\vista.dess" /p /sharedfolder "C:\s" /vmname TT6 /video 640x480x16 /memsize 256 /u1 com1

Is that correct?

When I start TomTom I go to preferences for GPS. I select other GPS module and have the option to select:
COM3
COM1
Serial port over COM1

Which one is the right one?

Any help will be appriciated.

What other program can I use to just check if my laptop 'likes' my BT GPS module. I dont mean other tomtom variant, but just a small program to check long and latitude by connecting through COM port.
