GPS wont connect

Hi Folks,

I’m using CF and have a BU-353 gps, but I cannot get it to lock onto any Satellites under Destinator.

It works perfectly on oziexplorer and with the proprietary software supplied. What am I doing wrong?

CF sees the correct COM port by default, using NMEA and the baud rate is the same as the other two apps.

Have I missed something?

Cheers

Hello,

Hopefully I'm answering my own question, can someone please confirm whether you need to load the Destinator SDK to get satellite connection. Or does CF actually include the frontend to do this?

Thanks.

Thanks for your answere!

So then does anyone have any ideas why under CF wont lock onto the Satellites yet all my other apps will??

Is there anyway "to see" whats going on with the communications between CF & the GPS unit?

Cheers

You might have to run xPort3 so that Centrafuse and your GPS software both have access to the NMEA sentences on the port.
