Any program that knows about NMEA should do.
(At least with the USB version I have...)

The Deluo is a great buy!

It should use any NMEA compatible software.

I use Delorme Street Atlas 2003 - $40-50 from Best Buy, CompUSA, etc.

Well worth it.

First time I got the software like a dumbass I'm sitting in my room trying to get it to work. One day while my girlfriend is driving, I be the geek and pull out my laptop and Deluo and bam, it picks up my position in seconds!!!!

Enjoy the GPS, it's the best bang for the buck.

does anyone know how to set up the street atlas to automatically recalculate a new reoute when you miss a turn. All my does is kept saying "off route" And also set it up to use current position as starting point instead of manually entering a starting point.

I'd like to know that as well... and does any one know if there is an option to not have a north up map? It gets annoying sometimes when I do miss a turn and am driving south and look at the map to take a right and needed to go left... argh.

*** Now that was a run-on sentence ! ***

go to control panel>add new hardware.

It should find a usb device (your GPS). When it asks for the driver point it to the Win2000/NT folder of your install disk.

That's about it.

[Check my sig]

Plug it in and it should auto-detect, and then begin installing the prolific USB serial bridge. I found that I couldn't install the 2000 version of the driver, but have had no real problems with the W98 version.

Go to the device manager and have a looky at the COM port that the GPS is using, and use that setting in your GPS software.

I'm using OziExplorer, as there isn't any street level navigation software available in Australia.

You have better luck with the win98 driver? Maybe I should switch. SA will completely lose my GPS for minutes @ a time.

For some reason the 2000 driver didn't want to install - I didn't have a choice.

My GPS will also go silent every now and then, although we're talking say 15 seconds tops, rather than minutes. I have no idea why, and haven't had the chance to attempt to debug yet.
