Post - -My IG4 Hibernation/Resume Fix- -

- -After going over pages and pages of threads on this matter, I have fixed "my" issue with this with the help of a friend. Here is what worked for me.....

1) Right click on My Computer --> click Manage. Open Device Manager--> Goto the Ports tab and select "Prolifc Serial to Usb". Click the tab listed "Port Settings", Click the Advanced tab, scroll done and to the com port drop down and select com 3. Click "OK" and exit out of the Device Manager.

2) Open Xport and click "scan", Xport should find your GPS reciever. The upper left tab should show com3. Move down to the next set of tabs on the left side and the first tab open it and set it to com7. The next tab below that set to com20. Check the box that says "Enable" (can't remember the entire phrase) that is between the top left and lower left com tabs. When the box is checked, com7 & com20 will show in gray and can't be touched. Move down to the bottom of the Xport window and find the "Prolific USB to Serial info" it should be the first one on the list. Click the box next to it and then close Xport.

3) Open what ever skin you are using, (LSX Void 3.3 for me). Open IG4 and goto the options menu, then find GPS com info and set it to 7. Close the IG4.

4) If you are using LSX Void 3.3 like am, goto OPT, click GPS, then click GPS Port. Set the number to 20. Exit out, click power, then click reload. This will reload RoadRunner.

* *Thats it.. if you are using a different skin than LSX Void 3.3, you will have to find the gps info for your skin and change the com port info with in the skin or you can do it in the RoadRunner Config. Again this worked for me and i did this all while at lunch with hlep from my boy Rodney! What up A-Rod!!!! I hope this will help others. Peace.* *
