New Earthmate!!

www.DeLorme.com

Looks pretty promising to me.
-NEMA compliant
-USB powered
-Suction mounting
-New chipset
-1/4 power of old earthmate

What do you think?

Ooooh ahhh bluetooth expandibility, me likes. Now if they can start putting bluetooth support in the epia boards that will be sweet. I know MSI currently makes one.

Yes bluetooth...expandability. The problem is that you will probably have to fork out about as much as you did for the gps for the bluetooth module. Oh well. I guess if i mount the carputer in the trunk and the gps in the rear window it can still get a signal...but how do you get it power???? Might as well just run a usb cable.

Probably a battery pack in the Bluetooth adapter or maybe a cigarette adapter.

those type of chargers aren't new. Sonicare tooth brush has been using this type of charger for years.
