GPS Receiver

Yea i wanted to know where can i get a good USB GPS receiver that is NMEA 2.0 compliant or later

there are plenty of those $99 units on ebay, I'm very tempted to one, are they any good?

If you're referring to the Deluo ones; I've had one and liked it very much. It's not compatible with Copilot 2002 or 2003 so I chose the Rand McNally serial GPS.

Well...that and it got stolen.

Why don't you buy a Garmin Etrex series, with a serial cable. It does everything such a mouse does, as well as you can use it separate of the system, walking around etc. As well as for the navigation function for the car PC.

wow, that's pretty cool.. I wish I knew about that before. Very handy for those of us who go hiking/camping/backpacking!

a good site for GPS stuff is www.gps4fun.com actually.. that's the only place I've seen exclusively dedicated to GPS. (this is not a plug)
