I want to hack the Magellan 3100 so that I bring the video out to an RCA plug and then run it back in through a video switch that allows me to switch in the video from my T5710 Thin Client (running XPe) that is monitoring my OBD signals, monitoring the BIG battery in my Hybrid, two external rear view cameras, and running MagicJack.
IOW, I want the GPS to double as a monitor for the Thin Client. I might also run the Delorme software on the Thin Client if it will run on XPe, then the old GPS just becomes a monitor.
Has anyone done this, or does anyone have a schematic for the Magellan 3100?
