Exclamation TomTom or iPhone as GPS reciever for carputer?

Hi,
I have a TomTom which cost me a fair bit. A while later I installed a computer into my car. So now I have a TomTom one side, and a 7" touch screen the other.

Is there any way to use the TomTom as a GPS reviever or even get the TomTom to output it's display onto the monitor?

Or can I use my jailbroken iPhone to do anything like this?

Thanks
JM
