Thumbs up

I have not used either model but have used Trimble products extensively. Trimble is the leader in the GPS market *by far*. If they made it, it is good. Trimble is who supplies the US Military and whose products are standard equipment for survey engineers, GIS professionals, etc.

Billy at BG is cool.

I was able make a $10 order, and have it shipped to the UK by Airmail.

aren't many small surplus companies that will do that for you.

if they have anything I need again, I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

I got two gps modules from them , they work ok. One is in the van with a spare laptop for netstumbling. You will need to know how build a converter , the outputs are ttl not rs232. If you are ok with an iron you will be ok. The antena needed is 5 volt and will cost you more than the module , I had a 3volt antena handy and so far it's ok <grin>.
